Overview
Encoder and sensor feedback signals run at low voltage over long cable lengths on automation equipment, and are especially sensitive to EMI from nearby VFDs and servo drives. This line is built specifically for that shielded, low-noise signal path.

Design & Construction
Shielded Twisted Pair Construction
Low-capacitance shielded twisted pairs carry encoder and resolver signals with foil-plus-braid shielding to suppress EMI coupling from adjacent power cabling in the same cable tray.
Servo & Encoder Connector Options
Common servo drive and encoder connector families are supported, with drain-wire termination and shield grounding built to the drive manufacturer’s recommended practice.
Manufacturing Process
Assembled under our ISO 9001 quality system with UL Recognized component construction, and continuity and shield-integrity testing on every production run.

Typical Applications
- Servo motor encoder cabling
- Proximity and photoelectric sensor wiring
- Machine vision camera cabling
- Temperature and pressure sensor harnesses
- Resolver cabling
Common installations include Servo motor encoder cabling, Proximity and photoelectric sensor wiring, and Machine vision camera cabling, where chemical and abrasion resistance for continuous duty in plant-floor conditions are the primary design drivers. The same base design can also be adapted for Temperature and pressure sensor harnesses and Resolver cabling with minor changes to connector type or cable length.
Technical Specifications
Standard configurations are available with the following technical specifications; custom configurations outside these ranges can be discussed with our engineering team. Wire Gauge: AWG 26 – 18. Conductor Count: 2 – 24 shielded pairs. Shielding: Foil + braid, low-capacitance construction. Temp Range: -20°C to +105°C. IP Rating: IP67 (field-side connectors). Standard: UL Recognized component construction. Connector Options: Common servo drive/encoder connector families.
Quality & Certification
Manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 certification with UL Recognized component construction and IP67-rated connector options for field-side installations.
Customization & Lead Time
Standard lead time for the EMI-Shielded Sensor & Encoder Cable Assemblies is 4–5 weeks prototype, 2–3 weeks production. Connector type, cable length, and conductor configuration can be customized to match your exact application, including connector type, cable length, and environmental sealing to match your specific machine or enclosure design. Contact our engineering team with your drawings or requirements for a project-specific quote.
Why XinHarness
