Overview

XinHarness builds custom wiring harness assemblies for automotive body, powertrain, and ADAS applications, from single-circuit jumper harnesses to full body wiring systems with 100+ circuits. Every harness is built to the customer’s wiring diagram and connector specification, with crimp and insulation choices matched to the vehicle platform’s electrical and thermal requirements.

Design & Construction

Conductor & Insulation

Conductors run from AWG 26 to AWG 10 depending on circuit load, using tin-plated copper strands with XLPE or TXL insulation rated to 125°C for engine-bay routing and 105°C for cabin and body circuits. Wire gauge, color coding, and print legend all follow the customer-supplied harness drawing.

Connector Systems

We terminate to automotive-grade sealed and unsealed connector families (Tyco/TE, JAE, Molex, Sumitomo, and equivalents) using automotive-specific crimp presses with in-line pull-force and crimp-height monitoring on every cavity. Cavity plugging, secondary locks (TPA/CPA), and heat-shrink or convoluted tubing branch protection are applied per drawing.

Manufacturing Process

Harnesses are built on dedicated automotive production lines at our 15,000 m² Shenzhen facility, using an APQP-driven quality workflow: PPAP documentation, first-article inspection, and 100% electrical continuity/hipot testing before packing. Lines are staffed for automotive takt-time production, with lot traceability from raw wire spool to shipped harness.

Production runs on IATF 16949-certified lines under our ISO 9001 quality system, with batch records retained for a minimum of 10 years for full traceability. Test data, crimp-force records, and PPAP packages are available on request for Tier-1 and OEM supplier qualification.
